It was a great beginning to her career and it led to better parts in movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie was the cult movie about teens who are sexually active, and Reid's role as Vicky was a major hit in Hollywood. It didn't lead to a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid did not do well in movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a small role on the film American Pie 2. Reid has more fame as a fashion designer and party host than she is an actress.
