Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She is the President and controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss hails born in California, was raised in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur in the field of real estate and later was the owner of Lakers Sports and Entertainment. Her parents parted ways in 1972 which made her feel emotionally left behind. In 1972, at age 19 she started working in the family business. Later she founded the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers She was also the president of the Great Western Forum. Buss' father died in 2013 as did the Lakers were acquired by Buss and her five siblings by way of an inheritance trust. Each of the siblings had an equal number of votes. She took on the role as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also owner of a portion of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling organization).
